Branches, Reunions, Events

Programme

As a member of The Old Hiltonian Club, keep abreast of major initiatives the club committee champions:

Branch activities and reunions

Our branch activities and class reunions are vital for engendering collegiality among Old Hiltonians. These include annual dinners, golf days, drinks evenings and other sporting and recreational events. Contact our events coordinator, Mrs Carolyn van Zuydam at cvz@hiltoncollege.com

150th anniversary of the founding of Hilton College

In 2022, Hilton celebrates its 150thyear of existence – a significant milestone by South African standards and a time for Old Hiltonians to celebrate and reflect. Brett Armstrong and our Advancement office are putting a tremendous amount of planning into ensuring we’re all able to commemorate this milestone fittingly.

Growing The Hilton College Endowment Foundation

To stay affordable and accessible, the world’s great schools are run as not-for-profit organisations. For them to be able to maintain and upgrade their facilities, support bursaries and scholarships and run worthy social projects, they need the financial support of their alumni and wider communities. Hilton College is no different.

Stay in touch

To update your contact details or make contact with any other Old Hiltonians, get in touch with Mrs Amanda Pistorious who manages our alumni database, at database@hiltoncollege.com

We’re investigating a new digital networking platform to enable connectivity and collaboration between Old Hiltonians.

The Hiltonian Travel Service

The Hiltonian Travel Service was conceived of by Old Hiltonian Craig Goodenough (1988, Churchill), the owner of XL Howick Travel and Bundu Bashers. Created as a mechanism to give back to the school, the Hiltonian Travel Service pays a percentage of its profits to the Hiltonian Society Bursary Fund.

Established in 2012, the initiative has been a resounding success, adding considerably to the bursary fund.

Over the past decade, members of staff, parents of Hilton boys, friends of Hilton and Old Hiltonians, in SA and abroad, have supported The Hiltonian Travel Service by entrusting to it their travel arrangements.

Whether you need to travel for business or leisure, you are guaranteed competitive prices and excellent service, and the satisfaction of knowing that you have contributed to our school’s bursary fund.

Depending on your travel requirements, your booking may be handled by XL Howick Travel or Bundu Bashers, but the benefit goes to the school, through the Hiltonian Travel Service.

You can reach Craig Goodenough on:
Tel: +27 33 330 6176 or

Please support us. By doing so, you are helping give sons of old boys the opportunity to attend Hilton College.
